Western Sports was founded by Carl Chang and his wife, Susan, in 1974. Their shared dream was to create a sports store that could meet the needs of Jamaica’s budding athletic community with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
Carl brought business acumen and unshakeable discipline to the venture, while Susan infused warmth, creativity, and customer care into every interaction. Together, they laid the foundation for a company that would become known not just for selling quality products, but for building lasting relationships.
Their legacy lives on in every Western Sports store, in every team we sponsor, and in every customer who walks through our doors. Today, their children and team continue to uphold the values they instilled: commitment to quality, loyalty to customers, and deep roots in the community.

Do you ship islandwide in Jamaica?
Yes, we offer delivery across the entire island. Whether you’re in Kingston, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, or anywhere else we’ve got you.
How long will delivery take?
Standard delivery takes 2 to 4 business days, depending on your location. Rural areas may take a bit longer. You’ll get tracking info once your order ships.
Do you offer international shipping?
We’re working on it! Right now, we ship within Jamaica. Stay tuned for updates on global delivery options.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and Cash on Delivery (COD) in select areas. More payment options coming soon.
How do I know what size to order?
Each product page has a size guide. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes, returns and exchanges are allowed within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and in original condition. Message us via WhatsApp or email to get started.
What if my item is damaged or the wrong size?
No worries if you receive a damaged item or the wrong size, we’ll make it right. Just reach out with your order details and a photo.
Do you restock sold-out items?

Is your gear made in Jamaica?
Some of our collections are locally sourced or designed here in JA. We’re proud to support local talent and quality.
